Story of Minions: The Rise of Gru (2021):

The story of this film is still under the cover but the title suggests that the film will tell us the story of Gru. Gru is the male protagonist of the Despicable Me world. Gru introduced himself at the end of Minions as a younger version of him. This 3D computer-animated comedy film will also show us the origin and existence of the minions.

Minions: The Rise of Gru is a sequel to Minions and a prequel to the Despicable Me movie series. From the previous movies, we saw Minions as a prehistoric species. They have somehow managed to survive. The only aim of the Minions is to serve the most powerful villain in their current time. At the end of the first movie of the Minions franchise, we saw young Gru. He became the new master of the Minions by defeating Scarlet Overkill.

In the 1970s, a 12 years old boy, Gru who is living in the suburbs, dreams to be the greatest supervillain of his time. He wants to join a supervillain group, the Vicious 6. Gru has the skill to control the minions and gets support from his loyal followers Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto. When the Vicious 6 fire their leader Wild Knuckles, Gru gets the chance to introduce him as the newest member. But it doesn’t go smoothly. Things get even worst when Gru and the Minions steal from the Vicious 6. Soon, Gru discovers himself as the mortal enemy of the apex of evil.
